Tanza stop in amazment as he see the mighty castle called hogwarts. He can't move thatis how exited he is to be here. He slowly walkstowards the entrance hall of the castle and sees so many people everywhere. As i take a nother step heaps of people start charging and bashing into me like rampaging bulls. I push as hard as i can to get out of the big pack of people and as i reach the end i fall and hit the grouwnd hard. As i shake it off i say "oww my head" and then i get up and keep walking. Then i see a bench.

Tanza goes and sits down on the bench and reaches into his bag and pulles out a book that he promised himself that he would finish the book before he got to the Griffindor common room. He was finishing it now because he only had 5 pages left. As he reached the last page he read it out loud to himself

As i drive my sword through the dragon heart it screams in terror and then looks at me. Then and there i found out that dragons are exactly like us they feel pain they feel sorrow and i just really hurt one of them. Now how am i going to save this dragon that i just hurt. It must think i am such a monster and then in the distance i see someone coming over the hill but who is it.

then Tanza sighs in relief as he finish the book and look up.

Ruby danced though the crowd of students making their ways to their next class, clogging the corridor as always. Growing frustrated she tapped a tick brick and a panel slide open long enough to admit her into a short secret passage. This one had the mark of caution next to it on her map, as where you ended up with a bit of Russian roulette; you could end up in about six different places that she knew of, and she had a feeling there where more she hadn't been dumped at yet. If it dumped her farther from where she needed to go... oh well. she'd deal with it.

There wasn't any sign of the passage choosing where to release her, but when Ruby reached the end of the line she stumbled out into the entrance hall. "Close enough." she said as she resettled her back on her shoulder.

But before she hurried off she saw a young man sitting reading ff to the side out of the mad rush of students. She didn't recognize him, though he looked like he should be in her year, or one up or down.

"hey, you new here?" she asked approaching the boy.

As Tanza saw the girl walking over to him he was actually shocked that someone was actually walking up to him at this point. He even got more shocked as she SPOKE to him well he new that it was going to happen some time. Then Tanza slowly slip something out of his mouth "yes it is my first day".

As he finished what he was saying he only just noticed all of the amazing things all around him. Tings like the moving pitures (he never had at his school) and all the tourches liting everything up. Tanza jumps up out of the blue with lots of exitement and then he looks at the girls and his cheek start to turn pink. He is so embarrest that he did that it was that he was just so exited. Well then he tried to draw the attention away from himself by slowly sitting down.

Then Tanza slowly starts to think again and thinks what house is this girl is[\i] for a minuite he thinks it will be rude to ask but then he completely ingnorrs that point and asks "what house are you in? and then he sits and waits for a reply.

One think Tanza noticed while Ruby was speaking to him was she had an American accent, not any of the ones you'd expect to hear in a school drawing from a pool of students int he British Isles and maybe from the continent. Ruby nodded as she plopped down next to him. "Thought so. I may not know every face in the school, but I know the ones I see in my classes, and yours isn't one of them."

She watched, a small smile of amusement on her lips as she watched him take in the entrance hall, guessing that until that moment he hadn't really Looked at it. She hadn't, not until the idea that she was going to be here full time sank in.

"My name's Ruby, and I'm in Slytherin House. Going by the red trim, you're in Gryffindor? Don't let your house mates poison you to making friends down in the dungeons, not all of us are back stabbing asses. Some of us the hat had considered putting in with the Lions, but ..." Well the hat had Seen the 'assignment' she'd been given by her mother and had been amused by it. Ruby wondered if the Hat had told the headmistress about her being an unofficial spy or not. It wasn't like she was trying to find another chamber, Myrtle had regaled some of them with how Potter had avenged her death by finding the Chamber of Secrets and slaying the basilisk within it.

"So, what's your name and where are you from? I'm formerly of the Salem Academy in the US. I've been here since start of the school year. My mom's job sent her here to do research."

Tanza was mostly settled down now and didn't really mind the girl sitting beside him. After she said that she only really knew the kids in her classes he wasn't really surprised. He looked slowly at the girl and saw the trim on her robes "they where green" well i guess we are not in the same house Tanza thought to himself. When he found out that her name was Ruby he thought that that wasn't a very popular name. Well not that he new. As he found out that people thought that her house where all back stabbing asses he was actually quite surprised he thought that they must be one of the friendly houses. Well i must have been wrong. " well atleast i know you are not a back stabbing ass" i say drawing a nice smile from my face.

Tanza was wondering if he should give her his name or she was just going to not mention his name.Then he stop thinking of that and actually started thinking about his mother. It is just some times he couldn't help it sometime he just can't help it. He started to tear up as he got a bit sad when he thought about his mother. After he heard what Ruby said He managed to get the asnswer out " Well my name is Tanza and i am surpisingly from down under. Well it is called australia. I came here to try and get my mind off of my mother that died when i was young" that was all Tanza could get out before he started to cry.

Ruby shrugged. /Oh, under the right circumstances anyone can be a back stabber. And i can be quite the ass when I want. But there's no need for me to be either right now./ she thought as she sat back a little and stretched.

Seeing the tears she swore to herself and began looking around for a teacher. What the heck had she said? She hadn't really said anything, nothing that should make anyone cry...

"Oh... cripes, I'm sorry to hear that. I... um... jah...." Ruby rubbed the back of her neck praying a teacher or just anyone else would walk over and get her out of this mess. She'd even take detention for making Tanza cry just to get away.

Seeing no help coming her way she leaned forward and dropped her voice. "Look not to sound callus over your loss, but you need to get a hold of yourself. First impressions count here and if some of the students see you as weak they will eat you alive. You know how to do a patronus? If so, pretend you're making one and dredge up every good memory you have of her and keep it at the top. Shuffle the good ones in if something bad bubbles up."

Notes: Sorry, Ruby just does not know how to do comforting words. If his issue was something else she'd listen to the problem and give him a solution for it.

Tanza starts to settle down and wipes his eyes. He bends down into his bag and grabs something he wasn't shore if she really cared but he really hope that she will understand. Then out of his bag he pulls out a book full of schetches but there was a catch, the schetches were all the same. They were all of a guy casting a spell on a woman "i hope you can undertand this...... Here is something i drew when i was 9 years old. Can you guess who the two people are?, don't answer that it is retoricle. The woman is my mother this is how she died. The man well that is my father he says that i only see his face because he is the first man to come to my mind what you think? wait retorical again. Well i sometimes feel afraid wile i am around my father, I feel....... Well ummm"

He didn't really want to go any ferther because he didn't think the girl could be trusted or if she even cared so i completely stop there and went onto that exact subject. " actually i want to ask something can i trust you........ Also another question do you even care" Tanza was really hoping for a friendly answer

[Zadiken Anvion]

Zadiken walked through the Great Hall towards the Entrance Hall, planning on surveying the forest with Tony today, to see if they could find out the patterns of travel with the current... issue they have been having. He continued on until he heard a sob come from one of the benches. A sob...? He glanced over, and saw the Slytherin girl, Ruby, speaking to a Gryffindor new arrival. He was crying. And Ruby looked particularly... lost. He sighed. Poor girl. He slowly walked over, his hands in his pockets of the long trenchcoat that replaced his robes.

"Wasser... what did you do now?" he said quietly, crossing his arms upon arrival. Of course, what was he doing? Rescuing her from this awkward situation so this new kid could calm down. He glanced over at Tanzakilli and tilted his head curiously. What could she have said to him, if she said anything at all? He shrugged internally, and stood his ground, looking between the students.

He had just actually exited Lana's quarters, and was in a good mood. So there was no danger of detention for Miss Wasser today. He was just... not really doing anything. Tony was probably relaxing, and was in no hurry to start that day's rounds. If anything, Tabby will get his lazy ass up and they can get a fresh start when he gets there.

First, however, his duty as Professor. Taking care of students.

Tanza looked as the teacher walked over to him. He started to think he might have got the girl in trouble. Tanza started to wipe his eyes to make it look like me was less sad. Then he heard the teacher speak to tthe girl then he thought that he had really got her into trouble.

He paniced for a second and the noticed that the teacher was as confused as Ruby was. Tanza couldn't believe that a teacher really cared at his old school the teacher didn't bother to worry about the students privit life. Then Tanza finaly came out with something to say "sir, i am sorry it wasn't her fault it is just really hard for me at the moment. As Tanza stoped and tryed to think of something else to say he looked over at Ruby. Then he spat out a little more that he suddenly came up with "she just cought me at the wrong time sir i am terrably sorry, and may i ask what may i call you?

I stoped and waited for a reply as Tanza looked back over at ruby feeling so sad for what i had done to this pour girl. But he didn't know what else to say he was just so...... so......... well embarrest about what has just happened.

Ruby barely kept her sign of relief from escaping as Zad appeared and accused her of being up to no good. She was just opening her mouth to reply, likely something sarcastic, when Tanz stepped in. She did a very good bobble head impression as Tanz explained.

"Honestly Professor, I just said Hi to the new student, asked his name and where he was from. I didn't get a chance to offer to show him around." Ruby stated as she rubbed her calf. She glanced down and swore softly when she spotted the red creeping above her sock.

/Stupid skin condition.../ she mentally grumbled.

[Zadiken Anvion]

Zadiken smirked. Right. Showing him around? You were looking for a way out. he thought to himself. He crossed his arms again and looked between the two students, glancing over his shoulder to the outside, peering towards the woods. The operation hadn't happened yet, but they were planning on taking the thing out tonight... Then, the students could have their fun in the forest again.

Blegh.

He glanced at Ruby when she mentioned that she hadn't had a chance to show him around yet.

"Show him around? Woah. Pushing the social boundaries, are we?" he said, mirroring what a Professor said to him when he started dating Kaliana, he being a Gryffindor, her a Slytherin. Not to imply that these two would date, but then again, even now it was weird to see a Slytherin be so... nice to a Gryffindor. Very odd.

After a moment, he uncrossed his arms and nodded to the students. "I actually need help with something. Would either of you mind helping me out?" he said, looking at either of them.

Ruby sighed and stood up to look Zad, as close as she could, in the eyes. "Why yes professor, I am. Just not how you mean. I see no point in the house animosities that seem to be encouraged by half the staff. I will make friends with who ever I damn well please regardless of their house, gender, species, orientation, or... well I guess that covers it."

She considered for a moment then shrugged. "Grandmother says never to volunteer for anything until you're told what the mission is; so what do you need professor?"

As Tanza thought about what he may want us to do he thought that it would get him something to do. Most of the time he would be bored considering no one even knew him and probably wouldn't notice him. "i will do it i need something to do anyway"

Then Tanza stood up and asked him "so where are we off to?" Then Tanza stood and waited for a answer hoping it was not a bad thing that is going to scare him even though he dosn't get scared much
