That's right! Characters can get personal housing!
Housing Applications
Basically, what this means is there is a use for the Galleons in your mini profile! All you have to do is apply for the Housing, and you'll get a personal board in the Wizarding or Muggle world sections of the forum! You'll have your own personal board to rp in, have parties, whatever you need.
Mainly, your house will have a total price that you can either pay outright, or make payments on as you go along. Minimum payments depend on the type of house!!
Once paid off, you'll still have to pay, though it's only a small fraction of the cost.
This is more or less just a perk, as you can rp at your character's home instead of 'making up a place' in a random board.
Students can apply for housing if they want, but it'll have to be their parents house, and they will not have to pay as much as an adult wizard would. Students cannot have anything other than two to three bedroom apartments or houses, and the prices will be 1/2 the normal payment monthly.
Professors get free housing within the school. However, it's restricted to the office and it's normal description

Five bed/four bath
Full price: Rent!
Down payment: 30,000 Galleons
15,000 Galleons a week

- Two bed/two bath house
Full Price: 500,000 Galleons
Down Payment: 10,000 Galleons
5,000 Galleons a week
- Three bed/Three bath house
Full Price: 750,000 Galleons
Down Payment: 15,000 Galleons
7,500 Galleons a week
- Four bed/Four bath Mansion
Full price 1,000,000 Galleons
Down Payment: 30,000 Galleons
10,000 Galleons a year
For more expensive homes, you can split the pricing with another member if you want, just agree on the payment split, and work it out with an admin or a mod!!
