Sally was sitting on the floor, blue skin turning a slightly greenish tan due to the orangey-red glow of the fireplace. The firelight also accented the golden-yellow color that was starting to show through the dark red hair dye. Her contacts, not needed for reading or really at all, were in their proper location up in her room, where other students would leave them alone. She heard the other students moving around in the common room, coming and going, but she didn't move. She was comfortable on the floor, and so she never got into the small fights over chairs and cushions that seemed to plague everyone else. A quiet 'mrrt?' made her adjust her books so that Frisky could crawl into her lap while she read through her Ancient Runes text book. She didn't need to persay, but she wanted too. The book was interesting to her, most of the subjects here were interesting.
"Hey! Get off the couch you blast-ended skank!"
"Make me you floppy wanded dementor boggerer!"
"Well at least scoot over you pile of unicorn turds!"
Sally sighed, where was the prefect, or any older student, when needed? Admittedly, she didn't like them acting like they owned the school, but at least they could shut dunderheads like those two up. She shifted and resettled herself, scratching her white tabby cat under the chin.
"Hey! Get off the couch you blast-ended skank!"
