History:
The earliest memory Shiloh has was of her father taking her brother away in the night when she and her mother were supposed to be asleep (Shiloh was around 4 then) and calling for them until she had woke her mother up. From then on she and her mother, whom was from the Arabian country, lived in York, England as normal people, not knowing she was half magic, alone making it as best as they could through some of the roughest years of their life, or so they thought.
When Shiloh turned 11 she got a letter, delivered by owl, telling her about her acceptance to some "magic" school called Hogwarts. Not knowing what it was all about, she asked her mother who sat her down and explained to Shiloh that her father had been what was called a wizard. Thus, apparently Shiloh had inherited some of his powers, which had explained all sorts of crazy goings on in the house.... Chess pieces moving themselves with just a thought from Shiloh, or their family cat who Shiloh loved dearly suddenly flashing from a cat into a roach and back again.
With her mother telling her that it would probably be a good idea to attend Hogwarts to gain control of her powers, they went through the motions of going to Diagon Alley, then Kings Cross station, and finally Shiloh arrived at the gates of Hogwarts all in a daze. Expecting to see something run down and debilitated, Shiloh was greatly surprised at the newly rebuilt grand palace that stood before her. Meeting all her teachers, or as they were called there, professors was an experience she took in stride, her charms and transfiguration professors took a liking to her so she did really well there. Meeting all the new people was amazing, she made so many new friends, some of whom she got close to quickly.
Her second, third and fourth years passed with the same premise, though some of her professors changed, or even just rotated classes to avoid getting bored of the same old routine. The MidSummers dance was the highlight of her year, she got to dress up in beautiful robes and got to see all the cute guys try so hard to get girls attentions, or girls trying to entice the guys.
Her fifth year was the worst, her "dad" had come back, though not the same person as she had remembered him, this time he was evil and looked drawn, just completely dark. She listened to her parents fight constantly, which sometimes involved physical violence. This continued for weeks, or months in the summer, Shiloh lost count because of how stressed it made her, until one day she had come home to find her mother on the floor seemingly asleep, and her father standing over her with his wand aimed at Alexandra's chest. Shiloh started run toward them screaming, wand at the ready, when suddenly the man who was her father turned on her with eyes as black as coal and an expression that was almost as dark, and used a spell that Shiloh hadn't yet heard that knocked her out cold.
When she came to, her 'father' was gone and her mother was clearly dead from the use of what she had assumed was the Killing Curse. Since they lived in the muggle world, there was no one who Shiloh could call, no one who would be there instantly or whom wouldn't assume the worst about her because she was the only one who it seemed, had been there. Knowing this, she immediately set out on her own with the few dollars she could scrounge up around the house, a few items of clothes, and the lot she would need for the coming year in school. She set out to go to, she hoped, a hotel for a while before she had to be at the Station. She ended up living the streets for the rest of that summer., claiming she was 18 to anyone who asked, as a kind of call girl.
Her fifth year at school was rather uneventful, except for the upcoming O.W.L.s that she hoped to at least get a passing grade. Since she had no relatives she knew were alive, she chose to live in Hogsmeade for the summers between classes. (She learned at start of her sixth summer she had just barely made it.) Her sixth year she put her best foot forward in most of her classes, though since she had to leave her beloved cat (whom was as you muggles say, more like a sister) when she left her home, she came to almost hate any thing that walked on all fours, she pretty well hated Care of Magical creatures. This is the year she began being labeled as the school ''flirt'' to put it nicely.
Her seventh year was her best, all the boys liked her, and wanted her attentions. And since she had witnessed her father killing her mother, whom he had claimed to love til the end of time, she had sworn off of any and all committed relationships. And not knowing where her brother currently was or if since the last person she had seen him with had been her father, if he was even alive, she vowed to take a "her against the world attitude". She became the most popular girl in the school, throughout all houses, though she hated the feeling, because she would tell it like it is, but would never let anyone get close, even pushing the friends she had made when first starting there away. She some how ended the year passing her N.E.W.T.s with flying colors, which meant she could do anything she wanted.
Shiloh took a short reprieve from Hogwarts and has just recently started her professorship of Charms at the school, though she is just starting to learn the ropes, she enjoys the company of children, as long as they aren't hers. She continues to steer clear of committed relationships, and has had a recurring dream of her holding a baby which scares the crap out of her, though she enjoys the company of men quite often.
