a little side note for everyone to read on aura manipulation
Character
Roleplay Sample:
Emilia was broken. And constantly afraid, so fucking terrified for her life and sanity. Never staying in the same place too long, avoiding people, never abandoning her precious weapons. Always looking over her shoulder, never resting at ease. It was fair to say she was a nervous wreck and it was particularly unusual. But ever since Kojiro had died she didn't feel sane anymore. Which, from an objective point of view would seem completely and utterly normal.
Ever since Kojiro had left, she had been wandering the smaller towns hoping not to get noticed. He had told her that her sword would turn ice blue once he died, and surely it did. She would never forget that moment. That sharp ping in her stomach like she'd gotten stabbed. The ice cold rush that had washed over her, like being sunken into a frozen lake. The moment she knew she was alone, no allies, no friends, only enemies.
Right now she was headed for down town london, she wasn't exactly sure why but something had been gnawing at her to go there for the longest time now. So she went, apparating from alleyway to alleyway, walking some of the way.
It was cold, very, very cold. She wore her black trench coat buttoned up all the way to her neck and a dark gray scarf over her ears and around her neck, over her mouth. She didn't wear mittens so her hands were red from the frost. Under her jacket in a sheath she kept her sword, the sword Kojiro had given to her. In her boots she had small throwing knives and on her belt bigger daggers. In her bracelets she had small pins the size of a toothpick laced with very strong tranquilizing venoms. In a sheath on her left wrist was her Black walnut wand. In the palm of her right hand she clutched onto a small vile of potion.
Her eyes were constantly looking around for someone suspicious, though she was without doubt the most suspicious one there. She crossed the street and shot into a back alley then apparated to another one further up the street. Then she walked along the street for ten minutes before crossing a busy street on a red light, getting honked at by muggle cars, she didn't quite understand traffic lights. She stopped to look around again and didn't see anyone so she kept walking. But then she saw it, it was only a glimpse of a back of someone's head but she stopped dead in her tracks forgetting all about the people and the people supposedly following her around. She blinked a few times before running after him.
She ran for awhile but had lost sight of the person she had seen. She wondered if she had passed him and was about to turn around when another person caught her eye. It was a face she'd seen before, many times. He was unmistakably tall and bald, with a scar running trough his eye, he wore a suit at all times. "Crap" she muttered under her breath before shooting into a muggle store on her right. It seemed to sell some kind of magical boxes with moving pictures and it was kind of disorienting. She looked out the window frantically before backing into the store keeping her eye on the window not paying attention to the people in the store. She bumped into someone and looked at them muttering a hazy apology before turning to her right walking further into the store.

a little side note for everyone to read on aura manipulation
The Aura is a field of energy that surrounds each person. To most people this energy is not visible, but then there are some that naturally see this energy, others have to train they're mind to see it, not everyone is good at it, but everyone can learn it, with various amounts of effort. Much like divination.
You can tell a lot about a person by observing they're aura. When they're mood alters, so does the aura. With anger, with affection, with fear come fluctuations, color changes, even scent changes, that people can be trained to see and recognize those changes. That is the first and the easiest part of Aura manipulation.
The second part to Aura manipulation is being able to control your own aura. To be able to draw your own energy into your body, hiding its reflexes from anyone who might be able to see it. This is extremely tiering and cannot be withheld for long. It also makes it extremely difficult to do magic while suppressing your aura seeing as it partly supresses your magical energy as well. You can however also expand it, for example standing close to someone an expanding your aura to surround them you can magnify they're energy to lend them extra strength when they cast spells.
The third part to Aura manipulation is its ability to connect with the natural elements. This is limited though, and very hard to accomplish, but the most talented would be able to manipulate the natural elements to do things to a certain degree. Like a flame to burn brighter or a plant to grow faster, a stream to change its path, a light wind to appear in a still room. But not a Tsunami or a hurricane or anything like that, without the use of a wand. However this would make it significantly easier to make those using a wand.
This is of course a class for O.W.L students and up. Focusing mostly on part one, and slightly on part two.
