Lyall smiled as she recounted about her mother, struck slightly off guard as her expression suddenly changed to that of.....regret? He wondered silently why but didn't ask, if she wanted to explain it she would have. He shrugged it off and handed the broom back to her. "Thank you again. Next time I hope my broom is fixed." he said with a flirty smirk. After all friends, if you wanted to call them that, were allowed to play around.
"I hope we can do this again. I'll see who I can round up, though as you said there's not many around who are tolerant of those in different houses still." he replied on a sigh. He still didn't understand the stand-offish attitude everyone else had with other houses, especially the gryffs and snakes. At his old school though they were separated in to different houses they were all school mates and had friends in each house. The main difference was because of the number of students there were houses for girls and houses for guys.
He smiled at her as he went over to the pile he'd discarded earlier containing his warmer clothes and class stuff he'd had with him when he'd made it to the pitch. "Well, I'll see ya at class then." he responded as he flicked his wand at the pile and it hopped into the bag he'd summoned. Picking it up he sighed at the thought of attending the fencing class and walks to the doors..
